Magento 2 Configurable Product Creation using Simple Product Attributes to create them I am looking for an experienced Magento developer to create a configurable product programmatically using existing simple product attributes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both front-end and back-end development of magento 2. Scope of Work: - this work is NOT to convert simple products to confirguable products - Create all configurable products for a product catalog of over 150,000 simple prodcuts in Magento 2 using existing simple products so make a configurable product made from the simple products - Programmatically generate the configurable products from the data in the simple products - Ensure that the configurable product is functional and displays correctly on the front-end - Test the product thoroughly to ensure that it meets the project requirements - The configurable product must use the simple products images but only 1 for each colour so as we have size and color as we are reselling clothing these no point it showing 2 pink images so only 1 is needed to show on the configurable product gallery on the front end - The configurable product needs to be placed in the same catagory as the simple products its made from - all configurable products will have the correct associated simple products to that product - configurable products will list the content from 1 of the associated products eg, page title, header, meta title, description etc and the new configurable product will have the sku number ending in -24 so we can see that this is a new product - install webp so we can convert images to webp Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in Magento 2 development including creating configurable products - Experience with front-end development in Magento 2 - Strong understanding of back-end development in Magento 2 - Familiarity with programming custom attributes in Magento 2 - Be able to work in SSH Timeline: The project has a specific deadline of within a week, so the ideal candidate must be able to work quickly and efficiently to complete the project on time.
