Map Viewer

Mobile app developer required to create a branded image viewer for the iPhone and iPad to allow large historic map areas i.e. a major city (equivalent to 1000 plus map sheets cut into 1km or 500m tiles) to be accessed and viewed. The user will have a list of areas to purchase (scale, edition, revision) and view as well as a list of maps already bought and available for viewing. Once purchased the user can open the map and have the functionality to pinch, pan, flick and double tap to zoom and move around the map/image. The maps will be geo-referenced to allow a transparency slider that will allow viewing of a modern base map beneath i.e Apple maps/googlemaps. The transparency slider will also allow viewing of other layered maps purchased in different scales and editions etc. The app should have tools that show scale, units of scale and cross hairs and an on/off option for these functions. A coordinate section that will allow searching by degrees, seconds, minutes and Easting and Northings and OS grid coordinates and possibly postcode. GPS location function.
