I'm a music producer, I do beats for rappers and electronic music as my own project.
During the first lockdown, I felt the urge to express myself at 360 degrees.
I needed to sing but I was afraid of being judged even though I consider myself gifted with a beautiful voice and when I overcome it I feel overwhelmed by that blank page ergo what I write it's rather forced than natural...
I hope that by giving this task to an expert I can eventually remove my training wheels.

MY STORY

I moved 2 years ago to Geneva, 600km (370miles) from home for a one-of-a-kind job offer.
Before that I had everything I wanted, a beautiful and lovely girl, deliberate love from my loved ones, a lot of "friends", the music I made started to be on another level, I got my diploma, the grade wasn't that bad and right after I received an offer from the biggest European research centre.
So I moved and after a couple of months, my girlfriend left me with a text.
Lonely, in a foreign country and dealing with real-life all by myself and most importantly in my 19's.
Alcohol was my bf and music my outlet.
Gotta say it was a productive period music-wise :)
I've always had horrible endings in my relationships (trust me I'm not exaggerating it), low self-esteem and step after step this lead to other problems. Geneva is a French-speaking region but working in an international organization I was meant to speak English as well. I'm super shy and I always felt like I was being judged about my speaking abilities, those looks where so heavy on me man, I started to stutter a little bit.
Anxiety entered the chat.
One day, I just got more wasted than others to relieve the pain, I "remember" it was snowy and I had too much of everything.
I ended up throwing up my dinner... It made me sick!
The day after I took the day off and started to work on myself, I can say I touched the bottom or at least I clearly saw it.
Fast forward >>
In this period I'm doing personal mastery, I can see how lucky I am, I can breathe again and yeah, I'm so grateful for anything. My bed is cold though.
The scars on my skin are almost healed and I would like to tell my story to the world, I don't know if it's for getting attention but, once again, I feel this urge inside.
You probably understand this better than me.
