I am a Full Stack Developer with 8 years of production experience in data modeling and warehousing. Converting legacy databases with report-style tables to normalized structures applicable to OLTP and OLAP is a familiar problem. I see a data migration will be needed after the new structures are created. Would straight SQL of SSIS be the system for the transfer? I am comfortable either way.
