Dear Employer, 1) Have to tried by importing database from backup, if yes did you get any error while importing. 2) when you logins to the mysql promt and fires show tables; did you gets the table listing of the used database 3) From point 2 if you are getting output of your command and stills you gets your mentioned error while firing select * FROM table_name, then 100% your tables has been corupted About myself Overall 6 yrs of exp in Linux and 3.5 yrs in LAMP, MySQL troubleshooting and tuning

Hi, Seems that your database corrupted actually ib* files Milestones: 1. Stop mysql server 2. Copy mysql database folder 3. create new one 4. overwrite ib* files 5. dump mysql dtabases inject old dump to new (renamed databases) delete or rename new to old restart mysql server.

There are many factors that contributes to such errors. It could be just a mis-configuration, or the files themselves are corrupted. There are an endless number of possibilities. There is always an 80% to recover the data, 95% to recover most of the the data.
