I have done this earlier in Perl with as many as 35 columns and thousands of records - removing duplicates, conditional formatting of rows/cells, filtering etc. The duplicates can either be removed in-place in the same input worksheet or the unique rows can be written to a separate Excel workbook file. The Perl processing requires memory to store and process millions of cells esp. if there are millions of rows in the Excel datasets however there are techniques in Perl such that intensive memory usage can be avoided. On the other hand, it can be coded such that Perl can offload the duplicates processing to Excel but such implementation can be done only if you are running the program on Windows. I am skilled in Perl to do this job and confident to provide you a good solution for your problem while at the same time communicating/explaining over video call.
