Dynamic Link Tracking

This request is for the development of a link script that tracks what ads are getting clicked on 10 or more sites, and deliver these adds appropriately through an algorithm of sorts to optimize the adds that work the best. The backoffice will be password protected, thus all users will have to provide a valid login and password to access it. There are three groups of users: Master Admin (controls all sites), Site Admin (only has access to his site information), and Advertiser Admin (can add their advertisement/site to the system). Foreach group of Users the backoffice will have the following options: Master Admin: 1. Ads overview (List avaiable ads) 1.a Delete ad 1.b Add ad 1.c Edit Ad 2. Users (List Users) 2.a Delete user 2.b Add user 2.c Edit user 3. Sites (List sites using the system) 3.a Edit site 3.b Report (for each site): total site clicks and number of times add has been present on the site, and what page the add was presented on (unique URL) 3.c Reset counter 4. Change Password 4.a Send Password when lost Webmaster Admin: 1. Report of their site: total site clicks per banner, and unique URL, along with overview of banners included in their rotation. 2. List of Ads available 2.a Add ad (from master list) to site ads list 2.b Remove ad from site ads list 3. View Link Code - ***** This should be a single code that is the same on any page of their site, not a code that is generated after they sign up for an ad. In other words, it should not be [login to view URL] for one site, and [login to view URL] for another. It should be one single code for all banners that will be present on their site. They will not need to maintain the code on their site. Just a one time cut and paste of [login to view URL] ******* 4. Change Password Advertiser Admin 1. Add/Change/Delete ad 2. Password Protected area, change password Each site will have only one link code: this is a piece of HTML that will allow the invocation of the script [login to view URL] ( that dynamically rotates the sites ads through an ad rotation scheme - the ads more clicked are showed more frequently). When a ad is clicked, another script, the [login to view URL] script registers the counter, and notifies our site. The banners and core scripts will be on our server, no maintenance on their server. The technologies to be used: PHP, HTML, Mysql, Apache, Linux. Delivery time: May 15, 2002 ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working script(s) in easily downloadable form as well as complete source code/documentation of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Apache ## Deadline information We will work on the actual script development of this project with the developer chosen to create the overall solution. The detailed technical design will be done by the developer, and the detailed linking code by the developer, the administrative areas, algorithm, and templates will be created by our developers. What we are looking for is primarily the code to do the linking, and the general tracking that takes place behind the scenes. The rest of the site will be done by our development team. The possibility for the developer to be compensated for the delivery of the solution to our client can be expected as an additional incentive after the initial sale has been done for the detailed technical designs and link tracking code.
