We are looking to hire a senior PHP developer or team with MySQL experience to create a content management system for Canadian farmers. Ideally, we wish to offer a website where Canadian farmers can visit to obtain local classifieds, weather, news, contests, commodity prices, real estate listings, and more. Farmers would be able to register and input their location in order to receive local information and targeted advertisements. We are hoping to create this project in stages. For the first stage, we require that the real estate section/module be created. This section of the site would perform very similarly like landmarketer.com. Realtors would be able to register and post listings. The listings would be searchable by cost, province, type, and other selections. Images should be easily unloadable along with the listings. Realtors will have access on a subscription basis, which will be managed by us. Requirements for the real estate section: - Centralized login system that can take two levels of users. The first being the realtor which would have basic abilities to upload, modify, and delete listings. The realtor should also be able to view the number of hits a listing has gotten. We require that a second level of user be available; this user would be an administrator. The administrator should be able modify all listings and user information. - The listings should be searchable by several different categories. Similar to landmarketer.com. We hope to offer the ability to search by type, price, province, etc… - Listings should automatically be listed when inputted by the realtor. The realtor should also have control over expiry dates and visibility of the listing. It is our hopes with this project to be able to offer the real estate section first and then build on to the site by adding the other sections/modules. This will enable traffic to start flowing as soon as the real estate portion is complete.
