This java application (use Java 1.5) will be used to create vector calendar templates. It has to be written in such a way that new types of calendars can be added easily. Also pretty much every aspect of the calendar templates have to be editable, such as colors, fonts, sizes, year, day with which the week starts, etc. It has to be able to generate week, month and yearly calendars. The templates are to be created in eps and any other vector format you may find a package for, though eps is a must. For eps output you can use this ([login to view URL]) package. Please check any other external packages you want to use with me before using them so I can check the licenses. Attached are a few sample images that should be able to be produced with this application (some are a bit extreme, but added for illustration). Once I have a setup defined I want to be able to save that setup, so I only have to load that setup again and change the year, to generate the next year of the same setup. I am a java programmer myself, so I expect clearly documented and well structured code. The UI is not that important, as this is not an application meant to be used by a lot of different people. I also expect good and prompt communication in a coder. As a starting point for this application I require to have 2 weekly, 2 monthly, and 2 yearly calendar types implemented. Adding more types has to be easy. So provide some kind of interface that will allow this adding of more calendar types.
