The task is to create a CD image that will boot a PC with Linux, start the Java program and expose the WS to a network.
The test C# klient is just to test the WS and will be installed on a Microsoft platform
* Make a Java program thats runs under Linux.
The program starts and listening for a Webservice request using http
The request is a XML with only 1 tag <DataLoad> data </DataLoad>
The data within the tag is sent to an RS232 port
The responce from the RS232 is sent back in an XML
The responce is a XML with only 1 tag <DataLoad> responce </DataLoad>
* Make a C# program thats sends a request to the Java/WS using http
The GUI have a input field that populate the DataLoad tag in the XML
The GUI have a displayfield that shows the responce from the Java WS
## Deliverables
This is just a small test of sending commands to an RS232 device connected to Java using WebService on a Linux platform. The linux will in the future be a very small PC and the intention is to have the OS and the program on a USB stick and no disk, no screen, no keyboard and built in a bigger machine.
The sending/reciving klient will be a larger system running on Microsoft platform
No need for design..,
Just simple send request->receive-get xml-value->send to rs232 device-> wait for reply-> send reply back-> get xml-value->display responce
1 field for the IP to send to
1 field for the command
Just 2 buttons.. Send and Cancel
