Consider the issue of compound interest. Let P = principal = present value, n = years of investment (loan), i = annual interest rate (decimal), m = number of time periods in a year, S = future value, and R = annual rate. These variables are related as follows: S/P =compound amount or single payment future value factor = (1+i/m)n*m P/S = single payment present worth factor = (1+i/m)-n*m S/R = uniform series compound amount factor = [(1+i/m)n*m-1]/(i/m) R/S =uniform series sinking fund factor = (i/m)/[(1+i/m)n*m-1] P/R = uniform series present worth factor = [(1+i/m)n\*m-1]/[(i/m)\*(1+i/m)n*m] R/P = uniform series capital recovery factor = [(i/m)\*(1+i/m)n\*m]/[(1+i/m)n*m-1] For example, a loan of P dollars for n years at interest rate 100i% can be paid back with a payment of R dollars paid m times per year. The total money paid in is R\*n\*m but the worth of that money at the end of the loan is S. Write a program, in java, that allows one to enter all but two of the variables (n, i, m, P, R, S) and calculate one or both of the other two variables. Note that one can calculate P given R, n, i, and m in a straightforward manner, as is the case with calculating R given P, n, i, and m. This is also true for calculating S given R, n, i, and m, and for calculating R given S, i, n, and m. It may be more difficult, perhaps involving root finding or trial and error methods, for solving for n or given the other variables. The program must include a recursive exponentiation function that is used. The Program should prompt the user for the inputs 1 by 1. Once 4 of the variables have been entered, prompt if user wishes to calculate the other variables or not, 1 by 1. Output is to the screen. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
