JSON response using psnapi.org API using Jquery

Hi. I have found this api for accessing playstation network data. [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] It is possible to receive this api data as a JSON response. I would like to be able to call this api using jquery possibly via $.getJSON method. Rather than host the api myself i would prefer to call the api via [login to view URL] and pass variables to that url. I am not opposed to other methods of doing this but i am most comfortable with php, JSON, Jquery as prgramming languages. My main aim is call the api to verify the user as a genuine playstation network user. I would be grateful if someone could help me achieve this.
