Hi, I've been working with PHP for a few years, and I have what I would consider Intermediate knowledge of the language. I've been working with MySQL for the same length of time and have a similar level of knowledge in that. I don't have as much experience with JavaScript, but I understand the basics. I'm easily contactable (looks like we both live in the Eastern Time Zone, so that's a bonus), and have a good ammount of free time (except for the first few days of class) that'd I'd be willing to work on a project such as this. A little bit about me: I'm a college student in Northern (like Canada north) NY. I've done serious web work for a couple years now (had a steady job over the summer that's pretty much comming to a close some time next week, except for the occasional odd-job). I enjoy Web work (have since I was like 10), and certainly don't mind learning new things (Ttentative Major is Computer Science). Back on topic... My bid reflects my average rate for an 8-hour day (I don't usually charge by the time period and instead charge by the project/value of the work, but in general it works out somewhere between $15 and $25 an hour.) I haven't had a chance to put a proper portfolio together, but I've worked on projects ranging from OsCommerce Installs/Customization, to writing a basic CMS, Classes for things like PhotoGallerys and Interfacing with TeamSpeak (a chat program) server.
From the little I've seen of your project, it looks like it might be a good opportunity to practice what I know and have some fun filling in gaps in my knowledge. I hope that covers everything. --Zach
