We have a dynamically drive site that uses Perl/CGI. We have added a new feature to the site that allows users to refine/narrow their search via multiple drop-downs. However, some searches, especially when 3 or more queries are being run at the same time, take a long time to load. What we now is:
1) Setting up a cron job to run the sql queries and store them. The file would be in a separate file on our site/FTP.
2) Coding to retrieve/call the cached results when a user makes selections from drop-downs and the sql runs.
We need the caching to be done once a day.
I am not very familiar with the coding. So, please include details of how you would go about caching results as far as the coding/steps. I will update this bid to make it more clear/detailed.

I apologize for not communicating the past few days. We are trying to figure out the best way to approach the problem. Can we just cache all our category/product pages? We have: 630 categories, and 13K Products. How much easier would this be? Thank You
