Fix: lower_case_table_names mysql

I have a problem with the variable: lower case table names in mysql on a unix server. ? I designed a site on my localhost.? Now since the site is on a remote host to be on the web; my database is not seeing my tables in my program.? The reason is because there is a variable set to "0" and it need to be set to "1" in phpmyamin.? Its called "lower_case_table_names."? I cant seem to get help from my server so I am calling on you to help me out with this issue.? I could go in my database a create new tables with the correct caps, but the problem is, I don't know all the corrections.? If I did have a way of finding out what the table names are in the correct caps, that would help also.? For now: I am thinking that is is a simple process to tell the database to ignore caps but I dont have any idea what it is.? I've heard look into [login to view URL], but I don't know where it is. I've heard, make a [login to view URL] file but I have no idea how to make the file and where to place it and what the syntax should be. thanks jb ## Deliverables I need someone to give me the information I need to fix? my database? isssue.
