Development of a in-browser WYSIWYG to generate HTML newsletters, using JQuery, JQueryUI, PHP e MySql. The tool, will use templates and modular content similar to mailchimp.com. We actually would like to differ from the above example and simplify as follows: There would be one starting format only. “Header, Body, Footer”. Header will be an Image and Footer is fixed with text such as disclaimers and applicable laws, so the real work will be on the Body. Body will have lines, And for each line we need the ability to choose 1, 2, 3 or 4 columns, their width in % and spacing between them, still in % value. Body could also have “Divider”(s) between lines. Users should be able to use an image, or select colour and size of border. For each column (within a line, in the body), user should be able to apply a template (by drag&drop) Templates will be: “Text Only”, “Image”, “Social” (Share/Like/Follow) and finally “Button”. Text Content will be editable in line with ChkEditor or TinyMce. “Text Only” will also show the option of adding a border complete with size and colour. “Image” will require Cropping, Automatic Resizing based on column size, Contrast, Saturation and Luminosity. “Social” will offer a multiple selection of social networks and will generate relative icons according to user's choice. Also we need the ability to add a link for “Share” for each specific social network. “Button” will offer choice of font, font colour, background colour, border size, border radius, and link URL. The final HTML result will be saved in a MySql db. Style will all be inline, images will have full path, and any link will be transformed in order to allow tracking. (eg: [login to view URL]) That means that each link will have to be saved in the DB so that it can later be accessed by the [login to view URL] page.
