We have recently launched an adult tube site, utlising a standard LAMP stack and are looking for an experienced sysadmin person to: - review our server configuration and make recommendations to enable us to maintain performance as we scale. Particular elements to include: - Streaming process memory utilisation review; and RAM utilisation generally - Bandwidth optimisation and planning - Current setup of apache and MySQL This will be the first of a number of planned development projects. Subsequent work envisioned include further website development and creating a tiered server architecture for improved performance

Hi, I provide this as a service. It would cover tuning the webserver, php, mysql and the kernel network parameters also server securing by strengthening your firewall rules(or installing a s/w firewall if none exists at present), setting up a bruteforce detection and prevention mechanism, securing apache against sql injection and xss and other generic server hardening activities. I also have a good deal of experience with load balancer configurations using both hardware as well as software(lighttpd recommended) load balancers. So that should help in the longer run. Besides these I also have a good deal of experience working with video(ffmpeg, fmpeg-php, mencoder, mplayer, flvtool2... the works) Would definitely like to get an opportunity to demonstrate with this project.
