We require an existing course manual and PowerPoint slides to be converted into an online format for delivery to national and international students of green IT. Solution Overview The purpose of One Day Online Course Development is to provide: - A Moodle based training website (on a subdomain of [login to view URL] – [login to view URL]) with: o A custom developed Moodle interface (template) o An online survey for course feedback o A course forum for questions & self‐service on Q&A o Configured to deliver one 11 module course - Develop eleven online video modules based on PowerPoint slides - Split existing workbook into 11 modules and reformat/configure for online delivery Project Approach Course Development Approach The course materials will be converted into an automated delivery model e.g. students can enrol automatically online with automatic payment through PayPal and course instructions/weekly tasks are standardised and pre‐written. The course was originally designed to be a 1 day course with approximately 7‐8 hours in actual lesson time. However this is fairly consolidated – in an online course, the aim is to give people short chunks (30‐60mins) of information and activities that they can take at their own pace.

Hello, I am confident this project can be completed within a one (1) week timeline. This would be my recommendation for the project timeline and resources: Day 1 - Implement Moodle w/ PayPal enrollments - v1.9.11 - Use Course Format - Collapsed Topics (elegant way of displaying modules in a course) - Install Survey/Poll Plugins - Setup Discussion Forums - Setup Student Progress Bar (to help students keep track of resources/items and their access) Day 2 & Day 3 - PowerPoint to Video - Use authorstream to convert the PowerPoint slides to a MPEG4 (.mp4) video and host it either on YouTube or directly within Moodle course using 'MediaCenter' module (based on client requirements). - Add modules to the Moodle course. Day 4 - Split existing workbook into 11 modules for online delivery on Moodle course.
