MapPoint 2002 Extraction Project

First, you need to be very familiar with and/or own MS MapPoint 2002. I have a license for the software, but, obviously, cannot share the software with you. MapPoint has the ability to programtically extract the Points of Interest (POIs). Look up 5300 different places (specified by latitude/longitude) and find/extract all of the POIs within a given radius of each point (probably 5 miles). 2. Extract the name of the POI, phone, address, distance from our specific place, and type of POI (i.e. Hospitals, Casinos, etc.) So, for example, I have a place at Lat-Long: 39.7185 , -105.0159 so it should get all of the POIs from MapPoint within a x (5) mile radius of that location. Then it will move onto the next Lat/Long and get all of the POIs within a x (5) mile radius of that location. It will do this for each of the 5300 places that we have. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Windows
