I have an application written in Delphi 6 that is working fine. It uses MS SQL as Database and Crystal Reports 7 for printing. I need this application be written in another language and am open to suggestions. Basic requirements: 1- The application must use MS SQL 2- Must run under Windows XP, Vista and 7 both 32 and 64B 3- Must have interface with the web like putting some of the information on a web site per users clicking on a button on the web site. 4- Must be able to print or save as PDF, several kinds of reports. 5- Reports should have a Visual design interface so the end user can make changes in the report without touching the code. 6- The application need to Read and Write from/to Domino Lotus Notes Database including the Domino Server Public address book. 7- The application must interface with MS Office 2000 and above. Mail merge and import/export selected number of records from/to MS office (like Excel) are examples of the interface. 8- Must be able to create PDF using selected records information. 9- Need to send emails with attachment directly from the application 10- All code must be completely commented and a kind of logic work map or flow chart showing how the program work is need. I can provide you with the EXE, the source code and sample data plus a Domino account on my servers. Alternatively I can let you access my station to see how the application work without a need to setup your test bed. Next -after this application is fully functional in the new language- I would ask for some additions and changes. The details of this part will be provided later. At the end I would need at least a 6 month of support for debugging, fixing errors, making small changes in the program (like moving fields around on a form, changing button positions, adding or removing fields from forms, . .) and responding to questions (like why this function is not working when I do this).
