I am currently running a website that has multiple blogs. It uses a unique sub-domain per blog. I would like to make dynamic content for each blog through using the sub-domain to fetch keyword specific search results in RSS / ATOM format. This will eventually be installed onto Wordpress though custom page templates so please do not use any scripts that will interfere with the operation and/or functions of Wordpress. The overall concept is to create a number of RSS feeds which are dynamically generated based on the sub-domain. i.e if I visit [login to view URL] the search term to be used in the RSS aggregation should be, 'london'. I have already built a script that provides the sub-domain as a variable for use in any script you make. This task looks long, however, once you have completed the first part it is very simple as it is just copy & paste with minor modifications for each page. I have already created a basic example: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Please read the requirements thoroughly as I will not answer questions that are already explained in the details below. I would like someone to start work on this immediately as it is quite urgent. I will be online via IM for any questions and support during the development and can provide you with answers to any technical questions as well. I will select a bidder within the next few hours so I look forward to working with one of you! ====================================================================================== Task 1: Create the following RSS feeds from website search results. All feeds should list the most recent items first. Each item within the feed should be labeled with the source it was retrieved from.: - Feed 1 - Images: Flickr (public keyword search for London) - - Feed 2 - Videos: YouTube - [login to view URL] Vimeo (public keyword search for London) - - Feed 3 - Blogs: Blogger / Google Blogs - [login to view URL] Wordpress - feed://[login to view URL] - Feed 4 - Status Feed: Twitter - [login to view URL] Friendfeed - [login to view URL] - Feed 5 - Overview: Combination of the Images, Videos, Blogs, Statuses feeds. - Feed 6 - Updates: Combination of Blogs and Status Feed ====================================================================================== Task 2: Within 1 page of HTML output the following items: Output 4 random items from the most recent 20 items in the feed to HTML from the 'Flickr' feed with the following data: Large image (resized by [login to view URL] to 630px x 225px) Title Link (displays large within Thickbox) Date/Time Posted Website Icon dependent on item source (i.e Flickr) Output 3 most recent items to HTML from the 'Videos' feed with the following data: Thumbnail (resized by [login to view URL] to 190px x 100px) Title Link (displays video within Thickbox) Date/Time Posted Website Icon dependent on item source (i.e Youtube / Vimeo) Output 10 most recent items to HTML from the 'Updates' feed with the following data: Title Link (Displays content of the originating site within an iFrame using Thickbox) Date/Time Posted Website Icon dependent on item source (i.e Youtube / Vimeo) User ID Output 6 most recent items to HTML from the 'Flickr' feed with the following data: Thumbnail (resized by [login to view URL] to 190px x 100px) Title Link (displays large image within Thickbox) Date/Time Posted Website Icon dependent on item source (i.e Flickr) ====================================================================================== Task 3: Create individual HTML pages for feeds and display using pagination. (i.e user loads page and views most recent 20 items, if they require older items, they click onto 'older items' and see a further 20 items and so on. The following feeds require this and should display the specified data: Feed: Videos (12 per page) - Thumbnail (resized by [login to view URL] to 190px x 100px) Title Link (displays video within Thickbox) Date/Time Posted Website Icon dependent on item source (i.e Youtube / Vimeo) Feed: Status Feed (30 per page) - Title Link (Displays content of the originating site within an iFrame using Thickbox) Date/Time Posted Website Icon dependent on item source (i.e Twitter / Wordpress / Blogger etc) User ID Feed: Flickr (12 per page) - Thumbnail (resized by [login to view URL] to 190px x 100px) Title Link (displays large image within Thickbox) Date/Time Posted Website Icon dependent on item source (i.e Flickr)
