Code-Snippet: Barcode-Reader from PDF-source (PHP)

Pages are scanned and provided as PDF-files (scans). On the pages there are barcodes, e.g. i25 (Interleaved 2 of 5). Via PHP the pages are uploaded/read and put into a database. In addition we want to have the barcodes, that are on the pages, to be read (so we can store them in the database as well). We need a code-snippet (PHP preferred) that would do that. I.e. a PHP function which get's the file data (PDF-file from a scanned page) and returns an array of the barcodes that are on that page. We need a php-function that is called in our PHP-Script and passed a file to and returns the barcodes. What we do: 1.) we scan the directory with $files=scandir($dir_inbox) 2.) we loop through all files with foreach ($files as $filename) 3.) we get the files data with $file = pathinfo($dir_inbox."/".$filename) 4.) HERE COMES YOUR FUNCTION 5.) we save the file and data (also the barcodes from your function) to the database. So, you do not have to write the upload and database work.
