Question - The data captured & scrapped from the reference websites will be stored in your local database after fetching the data from the reference websites or the results will be shown on the fly and nothing will be stored? The project would have been best in python using beautifulsoup package, which could have been used as an API, so request would have gone to python script and from there another request would go to the reference website to fetch the required data, the data would get parsed in python API and the API would send the required data in json format to the PHP website. This flow could work magically but I am not sure how much practical it would have been for you and also, I am not too confident on the python package (yes I have the knowledge but have never done in real projects). So, alternatively we can find a good PHP package (which is available for free) which can scrap the data from the reference websites and show it to the customers.
