Hi, I can create a plugin that will perform a search in the correspondig database and output results based on the preselected country. Then those results can be filtered by the user using some predefined filters. The search will be ajax based so will be fast and filtering will use dynamic HTML approach to filter out unnecessary results with smooth disappearing effects. Hi Matthew, if I understand correctly, what you would like to achieve is that search results are categorized, and all the categories related to the search terms are listed as additional filter. Then user can select only desired category, i.e. Video games. However I have couple of questions: - Are all products stored in your database, or your shop loads products from external sources? - Is content filtered per country before user start searching and how? (i.e. I guess user needs to select the country first?) - How the products are divided per countries? I mean, where is the parameter about product location stored? - Is that multivendor store (marketplace)? - Do you use any product filter plugin at the moment? Hello Matthew, I have quite important question regarding the search objects itself, does the products hosted in your site or it's from external sources ? If hosted : - Does the products have a value to be filter option ? ( category in this case, or perhaps country ) If external - Does the external sources provide queryable filter and value to be filter option just like hosted products ? Also, wondering what is platform you use for displaying products, if it's woocommerce then it would be easier, and if not, it would be depends on the platform you use Thank you :)
