Hi there, I am php developer with good skills in server administration as well. I can build a script for you to update all sites files from a source file you edit. Basically I would build a cli (command-line) php script that will then run as a cronjob at predefined intervals. This will analyze the last update timestamps of the files inside the source directory or site (the reference site where you make the changes) and then compare it with all other sites. If timestamps are different and then sizes it will update using rsync and preserve permissions accordingly to site owner. This script will run as root to be able to change ownership and rewrite all files. Two days tops and I scan start any time.
