I'll keep it short. Been using CI since v1.7.6 have upgraded more than a dozen applications, had different experience with each on. Main problem is third party libraries, custom form verification when using HMVC, sessions table, PHP version and scripts. in short there are a lot of unknown variables that need to be addressed and I need an in depth audition of your site is a must. No stings attached.
