Cross-section view of sky, sea, sea bed, under the sea bed, with oil rig, tanker, pipes, coast, oil refinery, power station, small city, train network. Using Blender (no plugins), so we can use it for an animation at a later date, to zoom in, isolate and animate different parts of the whole scene. 3D models bought where we can to speed things up, may have to make some that we can't find online. Simple colours, like this image, for faster renders and so it's not too detailed/confusing to look at.

Hi, I see that it's interesting work and not too complex as well but it takes effort on the modeling side more as it has simple material applied to it. I am 3D modeler for Structures, Game assets as well Product Rendering. Frankly speaking, I am working on 3ds max but the file taken to the blender will be working just similar. There will be additional plugins used like V-ray etc. and you will be provided the files in any format to work with. I mainly use; . 3ds max . zbrush (for any surface detailing) .
