Write some software

I need you to develop some software for me. I would like this software to be developed for Windows . I want to develop a software in image processing which will calculate the distance between two metal strips. Camera will produce continuous image of object. The object may vary from 1 mtr to 5 mtr long the smallest distance between the strips is of 1/120" to 1/60". Want the output in the form total no. of accurate strips and deformed strips distance and locate the deformed strips distance on the length of image created on screen.
