In the UK there are several games offered by the National Lottery. They all vary in ticket price, odds, some of them offer substantial second prizes (£1M and above). We are writing a blog post and an online calculator and would like to have a formula that is used to assess which game is 'best'. The following parameters need to be taken into account: 1. ticket price 2. number of plays with a substantial price 3. odds against prize for those substantial prizes (ignoring minor prizes, see substantial prizes below) 4. chances of any of the substantial prizes to be shared Deliverables required: A) a document explaining the formula and a rational in laymen's terms B) excel spreadsheet with a calculation of the formula and applying it to recent draws of different games. Games and substantial prizes: - euromillions: jackpot (5+2), UK millionaire maker (raffle), second prize (5+2) - lotto: jackpot (6), second prize (5+1) - set for life: jackpot (5+1) - thunderball: jackpot (5+1) - euromillions hotpicks: 5 - lotto hotpicks: 5 Terms of engagement: - If you re-use previously developed formula you MUST reference the source and ensure it is not in any way patented or copyright exist - If you develop the formula and wish for it to be attributed to your name please state this at the beginning of the engagement. We reserve the right refuse to attribute your name to the formula, for example but not limited to, if we are given an offensive pseudo name. - In any case our website and other platforms is the only place where this formula will be present. You must not resell or reuse this formula without written consent from us. - We may or may not use your formula. We may modify it. If you did not request for it to be attributed as your own work we may present it as someone else's works, either under a different name, a pseudo name or in any other way we see fit.

I was an Indian team finalist for International Mathematics Olympiad during my school days and puzzles have always excited me. I am a Management Consultant, MBA and 2X entrepreneur. Microsoft excel is my forte and I have been working on it for last 12 years, designing various models. This project seems interesting and I would definitely want to be part of it, even if it is for FREE. I can deliver first draft in 1 day flat.
