Do you love video editing and content creation? We are a video agency specializing in growing YouTube channels, creating content & turning the YouTube videos into short engaging clips for social media (Shorts, Reels & TikTok) and we need your help! We are looking for a highly skilled and creative video editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in basic motion graphic design (adding subtitles etc.) as well as Adobe Premiere and After Effects. Responsibilities: - Edit and produce high-quality video content for our clients and YouTube channel - Creating content & turning the YouTube videos into short engaging clips for social media (Shorts, Reels & TikTok) - Create motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video content - Ensure all videos meet the highest technical and creative standards - Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects - Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects - Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Experience in video editing and production is a plus - This is a freelance role with the opportunity to have a regular role in the company if the candidate can show they work well in the company for the first few freelance jobs. Your tasks will include: - Editing long-form YouTube video content - Transforming long- form YouTube videos into short, engaging (15-60 second) clips for social media platforms (Shorts, Reels & TikTok) - using [login to view URL] - Applying creative editing to produce high- quality, attention- grabbing content (Using GIFs, Stickers, Stock Video, Sound Effects) - using [login to view URL] - Working with our creative director to ensure consistent branding, style and quality across different clients and industries. - Correcting AI- generated video transcript (subtitle) errors - not more than 5 to 10 words per video clip. Your requirements: - At least 1 year of experience in video editing and content creation - Excellent time management skills & ability to work independently - Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines - Finger on the pulse of social media trends & content formats - Creative mindset with a strong focus on quality & strong attention to detail - Fluent in written English with the ability to correct transcript/subtitle errors - Able to take feedback constructively & learn quickly - Minimum 5MB upload & 10MB internet download speed - WINDOWS PC or laptop capable of frictionless editing & rendering - Experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro Sounds like you?
