Hi, my name is Angus. I write and research scripts for YouTubers. I've been doing it for a while now and I am looking to expand into creating my own content on YouTube, on my own channel. I am looking for someone that is able to animate or edit, preferably both but either is good as well. You would be taking on this work in the understanding that you aren't so much working for me as you are becoming part of the channel, my proposal is that any money made from the channel is split between everyone involved, based on their involvement. This would also mean that in the beginning both of us will be doing the work for no money.
Like I say it's not so much a job as it is a partnership, there is a lot of money to be made from a successful, well made YouTube channel and I do not have the ability to animate or edit, you may not have the patience to research and write, whatever it is, if we work together on it, we can build something great, doing what we both enjoy. (And hopefully, make a lot of money doing it).
I don't expect this to appeal to everyone and I'm sure you will want to see some of my writing to be sure that what I do is good enough, I will want to see your ability to animate and edit. If it does appeal to you just reach out and we can discuss it. I should add that the channel will be engineering and science-based topics, so think Kurzgesagt, you can have your own artistic style of course and it doesn't have to be as polished but it needs to be informative and relevant to the topic.
It will need to be a person who has English as either a first language or is fluent in English. You will need to be in a similar time zone to me (GMT) the furthest I would go is +/- 8 hours time difference. Also, add the words "topical youtube" to the opening of your message to me so I know you have read the description thanks. I want to be perfectly clear here, this is not a job, you will be joining me in building something, it could go wrong and we could both end up wasting a bit of time alternatively it could go well and we get make a living (possibly a very good living) from this. This means you need to think of animating and editing as more than a job, it needs to be a passion or at the very least something you enjoy, that you would happily do with no guarantee of money.
