Youtube Video Editor for Faceless Video Channel

We are a new YouTube channel specializing in AI, and completely faceless. We are seeking a talented and dedicated Video Editor to join our team on a short term contract basis of 20-40 hours a week for 1-2 months, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. Job Description: As our Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual narrative of our content. You will be responsible for editing and creating videos into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. The material will require use of properly licensed stock video/images, Voiceovers, sound effects, graphics, and special effects as needed. Recording of 'how to' footage and screen record will be required. We are open to discussion of provision of tools to complete, this if required. Responsibilities: Edit video footage into a cohesive and engaging narrative that aligns with our brand and audience expectations. Collaborate closely with our content creation team to understand the desired outcomes of each video. Scripts will be provided to allow you to focus on your specialisation. Incorporate sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects as needed. Ensure all videos are edited and ready for publication according to schedule, and meet all Youtube Copyright and community standards. Provide creative input and suggest ways to improve video quality and engagement. Stay up-to-date with the latest editing techniques, software, and equipment. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Video Editor in a professional setting, preferably with a YouTube channel. A portfolio and examples will be required for the right applicant. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and timing in the context of video editing. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to take feedback and direction. Familiarity with YouTube's guidelines and best practices.
