I have a small site to get online; a stock image catalog made up of 3600 unique images across 10 categories, that are available in Low and High resolution. I would like each image to exist in a browsable category, watermarked, and sort options. Each image to have a purchase option for the low res and the high res version of each photo. I have all the image metadata organized in an Excel spreadsheet, with filenames and paths. I have all the images organized into folders for low and high res images, by category. I have a web hosting already setup, with MySQL, PHP support, Wordpress and Drupal. I have looked at possible solutions using Wordpress, but my main obstacle is importing data from my Excel/CSV dataset, into the eCommerce platform, with minimal amount of data entry. I am open to other platforms, but have already considered WP eCommerce Plugin, Shopp, and Shopify. Winning bid will go to a freelancer who can provide not only a decent quote, but confident solution to the goals outlined above. If you believe Wordpress is a suitable platform for this host, I am mot comfortable with that, but open to convincing reasons for choosing another system or platform. Deadline for bids is April 25th, 2012. Site to go Live by the end of June, 2012.
