I'm looking to have a website built for my local parish catholic church. The primary purpose of the site is to provide our congregation and visitors with a hub for relevant church information and resources, as well as access to the live streaming. Key Features: * Easy access to church information (sacramental info, services, events, newsletter and notices, contact information and directions) * Links to the live streaming of church services - ideally embedded (if not cost-prohibitive), alternatively just links to our YouTube channel. * Integration of donation methods like Just Giving. * Potential sign-up option for electronic newsletter (platform is TBC but likely to be Mailchimp) * Social media integration: Linking to our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok pages. * Embedding pre-recorded videos hosted on YouTube. Ideal skills for this project include: * Proficiency in web development, particularly in informational websites. * Experience in designing user-friendly interfaces. * Knowledge of integrating social media and live streaming functionality. * Understanding of effective donation system integration. * Able to provide support on all technical elements of building a website: SSL & security; backups; transfer of DNS details and help with go-live I will be liaison from the parish. For context, we have two parish areas which are in the progress of merging to form one larger parish. Each parish has it's own website and so we are looking to build the new website and then close down the two existing ones: * [login to view URL] * [login to view URL] I currently help with the upkeep of the St Edwards one (first link), however the site itself is very old and many of the plug-ins etc no longer work. Ideally I would like to get 2 quotes: * For a specialist to build the entire site and do all of the above * For a specialist to build the base site, navigation and 2/3 basic page templates and to support with the security, backups and other elements, but for me to input the content and build the pages based upon the page templates you create So far I have a first draft of the proposed navigation/ wire frame and in the background we have begun work on collating the content. There is no firm timeframe for the project, however we wish to begin this summer and have a meeting diarised to sign off the budget on 1st June.
