The circuit's primary function is to ensure that the incoming voltage falls within the specified range of 4.5V to 5.5V, with a target of around 5V Ideally. This monitoring is critical as the USB power will not only supply the circuitry for monitoring but also drive an adapter with a strict operating voltage range. It is essential to design the circuit with minimal power consumption to avoid overloading the USB, which has a maximum current supply of 0.5A. The freelancer should implement a solution that self-tests the adapter's input voltage each time it is utilized, providing a reliable indication of whether the voltage is within the required range. Specs achieved: Voltage Reference: The Design of a MOSFET-only ZTC voltage reference realized in 65-nm CMOS, VREF = 600 mV, low TC of 0.87 ppm/°C over a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to -150°C, high PSRR of -47 db @100 Hz and -55db @ 10 MHz, and relatively low power dissipation of 9 µW. LDO: The Design of a Capacitor-less LDO with Nested Miller Compensation realized in 65nm CMOS, low undershoot and overshoot (7mv over a 1mA load current range), small output cap (0.5Pf), and small quiescent current(20uA), The loop gain is 70 dB, the phase margin is 62°, The load regulation is 1 mV/mA and the line regulation is 0.7 mV/V.
