We are a roofing company. We use Google Sketchup Pro to draw roof diagrams and measurements. We use an Excel quoting tool (that we developed) to generate quotes, purchase orders, job sheets etc. Currently our process is that after we diagram and measure the roof in Sketchup we then print a copy of that roof diagram and then manually input all the measurements (Starter, Eave, Ridge, Valley, Roof Area) into the first page of our Excel quoting tool from which all of the other pages of the Excel document calculate and flow. What we want to be able to do is have Sketchup automatically intuitively input the measurements into the first page of our Excel Quoting tool. For example, when we measure a roof \"valley\", Sketchup will automatically input that measurement into the first page of our Excel Quoting tool under the \"Valley\" column. That is pretty much it. I know that there is a a way to have Sketchup export into a generic CSV file but we are hoping that it can just communicate directly with our Excel quoting tool so that we don\'t have to cut and paste. I am not a programmer so I am not sure what all is involved here but I think it should be pretty simplistic to develop. Our Excel quoting tool has many pages but I attaching just the first page of the Excel document along with an example of one of our Sketchup diagrams with some notes so you understand the inputs we are looking for.

Hi, I have more than 14 years of exp and I am expert in this kind of work. I have completed more than 225 projects. Please look at the feedback left by my employers to know more about my work. Waiting for your positive response. Thanks.
I would do this based on the the csv file that you could hopefully generate. If there was a simple file I couple paste into your workbook so that the first page then reads that then I think I could easily get this done. It sounds very similar to another quoting project I did for a telephone company.
