Website quotation form for Odoo

This project involves the development of a website form that creates a quotation in Odoo for our 3D Printing service. The form should allow our customers to upload one or multiple .stl files, calculate the model parameters, allow the customer to select their desired material and create a quotation based on these inputs. The web-form should be able to display the model and calculate model parameters based on the input of a .stl file, such as model volume and bounding box. Currently, there are php scripts available with this capability. The solution should: On the web-end - Allow the customer to enter his/her details (Name, company, e-mail, phone). - Add notes (general purpose text-field). - Per model uploaded by the customer: -- Upload an .stl file; -- Select a material from a drop-down module; -- Enter the desired number of models to produce; - Submit the form after validation of the fields. Within Odoo: - Check whether the customer already exists, and if not, create a new one; - Create a quotation for the customer; - Add a quotation line with the product ‘Start-up fee’; - Add a quotation line for each model, select the product that corresponds with the chosen material (e.g. “Printing service ABS - White", "Printing service ABS - Black", "Printing service PolyCarbonate - Transparent”) and use the number of models followed by the filename (e.g. ‘2x [login to view URL]’) as item description; - Add the notes uploaded by the customer as notes to the quotation (i.e. he’s in a hurry, has some specific needs, general remarks etc.). - Attach the uploaded file(s) as attachment to the quotation.
