Scholarship Awards Administrator

This position, requiring 20 hours per week, is a part-time consulting position and as such does not offer benefits. Flexibility for working remotely. As part of the Bergen Community College Foundation, this position will be the lead on using the scholarship software in setting up new scholarships and donor contact information and awarding students for each application cycle while meeting strict deadlines. Liaise with internal college staff, faculty, and department heads, as well as donors and students. Will report to the Foundation’s Accountant and the Executive Director. Must become familiar with financial aid policies and scholarship criteria. Will also work closely with the Foundation’s Event Planner to coordinate an annual awards ceremony. Qualifications Required: • Prior college, scholarship management, or banking experience • Experience with Excel -including pivot tables and filters • Must demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills • Organized and detail-oriented • Experience working with culturally diverse populations • Must be able to work 20 hours per week • Ability to work with large amounts of data from various sources Qualifications Preferred: • Associates Degree • Experience with Blackbaud or other scholarship software
