I have a POS (point of sales) app developed in PHP and I need to print tickets directly to basically any type of POS printer. Thermal, dot matrix, any miniprinter intended to print tickets. So, I need to pick up HTML/PHP data and send it over to the printer without the browser dialog window as it has to be right after the sale is made and a click of a keyboard button or mouse. So the only way that comes to mind is a JAVA Applet.
